XII Festival of Science, Technology and Art in Lodz will take place between 16th and 23rd of April. More than 350 festival meetings in the form of lectures as well as workshops, shows, exhibitions, trips, contests andtheatrical spectacles have been planned for this year.
Polish History Museum in Warsaw – a national cultural institution – is to present pivotal issues in Polish history, with particular emphasis put on themes such as freedom and processes that shape it, functioning of parlimentarism, istitutions and grassroots movements as well as struggle for freedom and independence.
Experymentarium Discovery Center in Manufaktura, Lodz, invites everyone to a new exhibition ‘Treasures of the Pharaohs’, scheduled for opening on Saturday, 24th March. The exhibition creates an unmissable opportunity of meeting Egyptian gods and pharaohs. Thanks to it, visitors will learn how the mummification process was performed thousands of years ago, how were the famous Egyptian pyramids built and what treasures and mysteries they hide.
The grand finals of the 1st edition of the Interdisciplinary Competition ‘Masters of Intellect. Experiment in Nature’ will take place on the 14th of March at 11 am.
It appears that following a tidal wave of interest in new investments in the amusement park sector, the time has come for science centers. As it arises from the number of projects presented during the ‘Interakcja – Integracja’ conference in Warsaw, which took place between the 7th and 8th of March this year, in the next years a few dozen new science centers will be crated, while the projects that have been in realization, will see further expansion.
IV edition of the ‘Interakcja – Integracja’ Conference for science center organizers in Poland is history. It was another meeting for science center and interactive exhibition creators and organizers from all over Poland. The respresentatives of active institutions were exchanging their experiences and observations, as were doing those who represented centers in the midst of their realization. The group also includes science education adherents who are the initiators of establishing similar venues in their cities.
A splendid man has passed on. The one who was always smiling and was brimming with ideas. Without him, the world of interactive education in Poland will not be the same again. We, as Experymentarium, owe him much.

Starting from 30th of January, one can see a new exhibition- ‘European Championship. 2012 Football stadiums in miniature’ in Experymentarium Discovery Center in Manufaktura. It was opened by a Civic Platofrm MP, Mr. Andrzej Biernat.
