The Henri Dalaunay Cup for Euro 2012 will stay in Lodz only until 7th May. An airplane with the Euro trophy will arrive at Lublinek airport in Lodz around 8 a.m. It will be transported to Lodz city Council straight from the airport.

Golf courses fighting for players during the long weekend!
Today, a 2-day tournament on the A&A Arkadia field in Pabianice has begun, tomorrow Golf Marathon commences on the “Mazury Golf & Country Club” field in Naterki near Olsztyn, whereas on Tueasday, a festival of 3 tournaments on the “Modry Las” course starts in Choszczno.

Car Show 2012 in Manufaktura
For the 5th time, Manufaktura organizes the biggest outdoor automotive event in the region- Car Show. The picnic will last until this Sunday. During this 4-day event one will be able to marvel not only at luxurious cars but also automotive antiques. Automobiles are presented on the main square as well as inside the retail park.

Helios to create a new cinema in Lodz?
Helios, a cinema operator that belongs to the Agora group, signed an agreement in Warsaw yesterday, according to which a new cinema will be opened in Lodz in 2014. The new building will be able to house more than 2000 guests in 9 halls. It will be located in the ‘Sukcesja’ Commercial-Entertainment Center.

Effective promotion of Łodz at last! ‘Commissioner Alex’ is a Polish production which has been aired by TVP1 since the beginning of March. The series was shot entirely in Lodz. 130 open-air areas where the series was filmed await the viewers.
