Samuel Aranda from Spain has received the main prize in this year’s edition of World Press Photo. The awarded photography presents a Jemen woman holding a relative in her arms. It was taken in a mosque that served as a hospital for those demonstrating against the system.

Kulturalia 2012

Kulturalia 2012 is a series of events that are meant to acquaint citizens of Łódź with cultures of various nations- Polish in February, Russian in March and Jewish in June. The first Kulturalia this year will take place between the 18th and 21st of February, commencing with Polish Culture Days .
